Axonometric images. (Livingroom and Kitchen)

Here are two axonometric images, I used Paint.NET to create them.

This room is my Livingroom.

And this is my kitchen.

My building was constructed during the Victorian period, has 2 floors including the ground floor and is terraced.
Firstly, the main material used to construct my house is brick. Bricks at the time were very popular for construction due to its cheap price, reliability, were easy to place and thus were mass produced.
Secondly, the building is roofed with slate, which was very common in Victorian structures.
Although it has been removed from the building, the structure did have a fireplace.
High ceilings were also highly popular in Victorian structures, and many of the ceilings in the house are indeed high.
There are many other features that may be found commonly in Victorian buildings, but some much fancier aspects such as wood panelling inserts, will not be found. This could possibly be due to reconstruction from the damages from World War II or the fact that this house was a quickly built terrace to hold the growing population.
During World War II, the Germans fired a V-2 Rocket that exploded in ‘New Cross Road’. The explosion is known to be the most destructive and deadliest V-bombing during the 2nd world war. The bomb tore Childeric Road apart, but the west side (Including my house) still remains. The other side however, was turned into a park named Fordham Park. An interesting fact – there are only odd numbered houses in Childeric Road today as the even numbered houses were completely destroyed by the bombing.

Old New Cross Station and new one.

Here is an image of New Cross station, which is relatively close to my structure.

And here is an old image, dated 1873. Most of the buildings and roads are, to my surprise the same, with most structures remaining.

Google Earth Images

Here are some google Earth images.

This GE image shows the Lewisham Borough. I live very close to the red marker labeled "New Cross Gate".

This GE image shows my street. (Labeled) It also shows quite a few streets around it.

This GE image is zoomed in even more on my street. We can see the roads and park in more detail.

This Google Map image shows the travel journey from New Cross Gate Station to my house, which I photographed.

The entrance of my House.

Here are several images of my House's entrance. They show the detail of both the interior and exterior of the entrance.

This frontal shot shows what the entrance looks like from the pavement.

This shot shows the 'bin area' behind the little wall and a little of the window.

As we can see, the top of the wall is made of some sort of stone and cement.

This shot details the material of the wooden gate. As we can see, it is wood with a little bit of good'ol homely green stuff.

This shows the doormat at the bottom of my door.

Here, we can see in further detail the material which covers most of the building. (Brick) We can also see the White thin layer of paint that covers the "grove" of the front door.

This shot shows the rough height and ceiling of the "grove".

This is a frontal shot of livingroom window from the outside. As you can see, the paint is peeling off.

The letterbox of the door. The material is a little worn.

This is the entrance hallway taken from a very low stance. It details the wooden floor.

This is the entrance hallway, as you can see it splits into 3 paths. The stairs to the left, the kitchen hallway straight ahead and the livingroom to the right.

This is a shot taken right at the door looking outside. The wide space you get contrasts the tight space of the doorway and feels very open.

This shot shows the area of the door from the inside.

This "face" is on the ceiling. It lies just onto of the stairs.

Walking from New Cross Gate to my house.

As the title suggests, these are shots from New Cross Gate station to my house. Part of the journey is a long straight road, so the direction is fairly simple.

The building to the left is New Cross Gate.

This is just past New Gross Gate.

Walking further down a little, there is a little pathway with this run down opening

Further down and across the road, we can see a university campus.

This image shows linked roads and Goldsmiths University in the background.

This is to the left hand side of the linked roads.

A shot continiung down the road.

New Cross Library.

On the other side of the road is Deptford Town Hall.

Another shot of the town hall.

Futher down the road.

Again, another shot of the Town Hall.

This building and alley lies on the right hand side of the Town Hall.

Further down the road are some crossings.

Taking a left at the crossing, we reach this path downhill which we must travel through to reach my house.

A shot showing the park in the distance a little clearer.

In the previous picture, if you take a left you will see this alley.

This is nearing the bottom of the hill.

The bottom of the hill.

This is the park at the bottom of the hill.

This shot shows my street in which I live in. As we can see from this shot the park is very close to my house.

This is Childeric Primary school located before the houses.

A turn into the houses.

The houses in detail, showing the parking spaces.

A shot of the pavement.

This shot is taken right next to my door, showing the distance of the park from my house.
